Law Clerk
Wilson Elser's is looking for part-time Law Clerk to work up to 28 hours during the school year. We are looking for 1 Law Clerk to be based in our McLean, VA office.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is currently a third year law school student looking to take on a part time position with a national law firm. The law clerk will have the opportunity to work on a fast-paced team focused on insurance matters, and will gain substantive, transferable legal experience.

The Position
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree required
- Currently enrolled as a third year law student at an accredited Law School to earn their JD
- Experience and / or strong interest in insurance defense
- Familiarity with litigation processes a plus
- Must be goal oriented, efficient and extremely organized
- Prior work experience in a fast - paced professional environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Legal and factual research
- Assist with analyzing legal and factual issues
- Relevancy and issue reviews of documents
- Assist with drafting coverage opinions and client reports
