Toxic Tort Associate Attorney
Wilson Elser's Madison, NJ office is currently seeking an Attorney for their Toxic Tort litigation practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys with experience in products liability and toxic tort law who are interested in joining a growing, dynamic team as part of a national law firm. This position gives the attorney excellent opportunities to litigate on their feet in court from conferences and motions through trials, while also interacting directly with clients, partners and staff in a team approach to litigation.

The Position
Qualifications- JD from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York
- 4+ years of litigation experience preferred
- Experience with asbestos litigation preferred
- Experience with other insurance defense, and toxic torts is a plus
- Environmental litigation experience is also a plus but not required
- Strong communication, writing, and research skills
- Work on multiple cases simultaneously from inception through trial as part of a coordinated defense litigation team
- Attend depositions for multiple types of defendants defending multiple types of varied products
- Primary drafting of client reports, motions, pretrial disclosures, settlement releases and other legal filings
- Work closely with other attorneys and Partners on the legal defense of matters in potential bet the business litigation matters with a participation in development and implementation of strategy
- Interaction with clients in due diligence projects, and with adversaries in meet and confer discovery issues.
- Argument of motions and attendance at conferences before NY Judges, and arguments and conferences before the Special Master.

The annualized salary range for this position is $125,000 to $160,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
