The Position


  • Minimum of 5 years in finance/accounting preferably within a law firm
  • Experience with Partnership tax rules
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance
  • MBA preferred
  • CPA a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to work independently and follow through on tasks in a timely manner
  • Outstanding attention to detail 
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Work with Controller and Accounting Manager to develop the organization’s annual Business Plan 
  • Evaluate financial condition by analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual operating information; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management
  • Contribute to a successful review by outside accounting Firm by providing necessary needed schedules; prepare required year-end Tax work papers
  • Preparation of actual and projected monthly cash flows, Balance Sheet and supporting schedules
  • Monthly reconciliation of all the Firm’s operating and escrow accounts
  • Prepare and file all required tax forms for all offices
  • Set up and maintain leases and amortization schedules
  • Work on special projects as assigned
