Christina K. Chen counsels and defends clients in workers' compensation matters in all five boroughs and upstate New York. She has an extensive background defending insurers, employers and third-party administrators against workers' compensation claims. Christina handles all aspects of insurance defense litigation including comprehensive claim analysis, depositions, trials, drafting legal memoranda and other correspondence to the New York Workers’ Compensation Board as well as various courts in New York City.
Christina draws her experience from positions defending the nation's largest insurers, including serving as in-house Staff Counsel prior to joining Wilson Elser. Christina has represented clients in all matters of litigation and prepared cases from inception through trial and successfully negotiated settlements to completion. During and after law school, Christina litigated cases in various New York State and New York City courts on behalf of underprivileged groups and individuals including Housing Court, Family Court and the NYC Department of Labor.
