Marisa Trasatti (Partner-Baltimore) will co-present with Dr. Kimberly Mehlman-Orozco for a CLE course on the topic “Human Trafficking: The Quiet Risk.” The course will be recorded on June 3, 2019, for marketing to businesses in California where human trafficking training is now mandatory for retailers. Marisa will review how to better spot human trafficking, discuss what is being done to combat human trafficking and identify the changing legal landscape affecting premises liability/human trafficking. Dr. Mehlman Orozco is an accomplished survey methodologist, criminologist, author, research scientist, and seminal quantitative and qualitative consultant on issues related to human trafficking.
