Joseph M. Fusz (Partner-Chicago, IL) will copresent “Examiners Are from Streeterville, Attorneys Are from Barrington – Aligning the Two to Maximize Digital Investigation Value” at the Chicago Cyber Fraud Task Force (CFTC) Meeting on March 5, 2026, held at the U.S. Secret Service Field Office in Chicago, Illinois. Joining Joseph is Keith Chval, president and CEO of Protek International. The CFTC meetings are a Secret Service initiative bringing together cyber-focused legal and investigative leaders to provide updates and training on best practices for preventing and pursuing cyber-based fraud. Joseph and Keith will share lessons learned from their decades of experience on both sides of the examiner-attorney relationship fence, including in both the private and law enforcement sectors, providing real-world accounts of forensic examinations and investigations as well as practical insights on avoiding pitfalls to ensure the maximum investigative and evidentiary value is captured.
