John Cahill (Associate, White Plains, NY) will appear as a guest speaker on November 13, 2025, at the Puerto Rican / Hispanic Youth Leadership Institute (PR/HYLI) seminar for high school students from across Long Island and facilitate an interactive discussion. His talk will focus on AI and how it is, can, and will impact the democratic process. The session will align with PR/HYLI’s theme, “Democracy in the Age of AI,” and help high school students explore how artificial intelligence affects civic life, leadership development, social equity, and the workings of New York State government, including the legislative process, parliamentary procedure, public speaking, and debating selected Assembly bills.
