Daniel Tranen (Partner-St. Louis, MO), cochair of Wilson Elser’s Life Sciences and Product Liability, Prevention & Government Compliance practices, will moderate the closing keynote panel titled “Supreme Court’s Impact on Med Mal Cases: Dobbs Revisited and Other Cases” at the Crittenden Medical Liability Conference, to be held in Charleston, South Carolina, April 8–10, 2024. The session provides an overview of the Dobbs case and examines related state decisions and statutes impacting women’s health. Topics discussed include the impact on EMTALA, the Supreme Court hearing argument on Mifepristone, and the recent Alabama Supreme Court decision impacting IVF treatment.
