Daron Stone has devoted his career to insurance coverage matters, partnering with his clients to navigate complex issues with an eye toward practical, cost-effective resolutions. He represents carriers across the full spectrum of their coverage needs, including coverage evaluations, claims-handling guidance, bad faith avoidance, and contractual and extracontractual disputes.

Daron’s experience spans commercial general liability, employment practices liability, personal and commercial auto, excess and umbrella, homeowners, and first-party policies. He has handled matters across a wide range of industries and risk profiles, including construction defect, personal injury, product liability, environmental, premises liability, transportation, and employment-related claims.

Daron advises clients on policy interpretation, coverage determinations, risk evaluation, and claims-handling strategy. He also represents insurers in first-party and liability coverage litigation in state and federal courts, helping clients address complex coverage disputes and develop practical, actionable solutions.

Before joining Wilson Elser, Daron worked closely with claims professionals as associate counsel for a commercial property and casualty insurer. That experience gives him a firsthand understanding of the operational, legal, and business considerations that shape coverage and claims decisions.
