David Leister represents individuals and businesses in a broad range of civil litigation. His practice focuses on the defense of claims related to premises liability, personal injury, product liability, construction, and contract disputes. David combines sharp analytical skills with creative, persuasive advocacy to develop calculated defense strategies and achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
Before joining Wilson Elser, David worked at a construction litigation defense firm, where he handled complex litigation related to property and contract disputes. David’s cases involved construction projects ranging from schools to hotels and custom homes, often comprising more than ten parties at any given time.
During law school, David gained valuable insight into federal law and procedure as an intern for the Honorable Michael Truncale of the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Texas.
