David R. Santana (Associate-New York, NY) will join a panel titled “Work It: Skill Drills for Creating Persuasive Arguments” at the National Association of Legal Advocacy Educators 2024 Educating Advocacy Teachers (EATS) Conference to be held at Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, Florida, June 10–12, 2024. David, a Special Professor of Law at the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York, received a grant from the National Association to participate in the conference as an attendee and speaker. The Association presented the grant in recognition of David’s efforts and dedication to teaching trial advocacy skills to law students. David has coached several teams of law students in competitions where they finished as champions and finalists. David’s panel will demonstrate methods and techniques to formulate persuasive arguments.
