Debbie Moeller is an experienced litigator who has defended corporations in “bet the company” litigation for more than 30 years. She has served as lead counsel for Fortune 500 companies in both global mass tort and multidistrict litigation matters. Her experience spans product liability, personal injury, toxic tort, commercial litigation, transportation, and construction disputes.

Debbie counsels her clients in every step of the litigation process, from trying to prevent lawsuits in the first place through appeal. She is especially known for her keen strategic thinking and innovative defenses. She has prepped and defended company witnesses including board members and CEOs. She has deposed hundreds of plaintiffs and treating physicians across the country. She is especially skilled at working with and cross-examining expert witnesses in a variety of liability and medical fields.

Known for her pragmatic approach, Debbie evaluates every aspect of high-exposure litigation to develop effective strategies to achieve favorable outcomes. In addition to managing complex litigation, she advises clients on risk mitigation, including prelitigation counseling, in-house training, and the development of product warnings and procedures designed to reduce exposure. Debbie has also worked with lobbyists to draft white papers and persuade legislators. She has assisted clients in drafting standby media statements and other crisis management communications.
