Braude to Moderate Judges’ Panel at DRI’s Product Liability Conference

Dan Braude (Partner-White Plains) is set to moderate a judges’ panel, “From the Bench: Discovery Cooperation and Proportionality in Complex Products Litigation,” at the 2019 DRI Product Liability Conference to be held February 6−8, 2019, in Austin, Texas. This panel discussion featuring three federal judges will address the challenges faced by manufacturers dealing with immense volumes of discovery, including approaches and best practices for handling scheduling conferences and methods for implementing proportionality concepts to limit the scope of discovery in product liability litigation. Additionally, as chair of the DRI Product Liability Subcommittee on Digital Evidence and Emerging Technologies, Dan will coordinate a two-hour breakout session addressing “International Discovery Issues in the Global Economy.”
