New York City partners Ellen Greiper and Eugene Boulé will present “Fraud in Litigation: A Primer for Claims Professionals,” an IACP-sponsored webinar, on November 6, 2024. Ellen and Gene will provide claims professionals with an overview of the litigation landscape following the recent filings of numerous RICO complaints. They will discuss the background of the current complaints and the years of investigation into the fraudulent activities of plaintiffs’ law firms and their medical providers, and fraud statistics affecting the industry. Other topics include best practices to counter fraud, the effect on willingness of plaintiffs to try cases, and concerns surrounding the testimony of experts.
