Jacqueline Hattar (Partner-White Plains) will participate in a virtual panel discussion on diversity in the legal profession at the Westchester Women's Bar Association's General Membership meeting on April 14, 2021. “A Continuing Lecture Series on Diversity & Inclusion in the Legal Profession: Perspectives from the Bench and the Bar” will include a discussion of the impact and importance of diversity and inclusion in the workplace, and its greatest challenges in the judiciary and corporate legal industries. The panel also includes the Honorable Cheryl Chambers, Associate Justice of the New York State Appellate Division, Second Department; Mirna Santiago, CEO of Girls Rule the Law and Chair of the New York State Bar Association's Committee on Diversity and Inclusion; Janeen Thomas, Partner, Lewis Brisbois; and Stephanie Melowsky, Vice President, PCSB Bank. Jackie is a member of Wilson Elser's Diversity & Inclusion Committee, and one of the founding partners of its subcommittee on Women Attorneys Valued & Empowered (WAVE).
