Linda Stimmel (Partner-Dallas) will present “Avoiding Malpractice: Documentation, Chain of Command and Charting” at the Wolters Kluwer Nursing Management Congress 2020 to be held September 22–25, 2020. Linda’s one-hour virtual presentation will teach attendees how their daily practice choices can protect or harm them in a legal context and how to chart and interact in chain of command situations and document efficiently and effectively. She also will cover communicating with unhappy patients and their families to lessen the potential for litigation as well as practice points to use when confronted with chain of command and informed consent issues.
