Wilson Elser partners Karen Bashor (Las Vegas, NV), Mary Louise Kandyba (Chicago, IL), Aviva Stein (White Plains, NY) and Jillian Keith (Dallas, TX) will present “Breaking the Glass Bar: Lessons from Women Trial Lawyers,” a Wilson Elser Forum virtual event, on December 12, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. ET. Inspired by the March 2023 CLM Magazine article “Missing Pieces: How Women Trial Lawyers Complete Your Trial Team,” the panelists will elaborate on challenges women trial lawyers face on a daily basis and share their individual paths to gaining front-line trial experience. Each will discuss her experiences as a woman trial lawyer, what it means to be authentic, attaining a meaningful versus a token presence on a trial team, external and internal challenges and breaking through glass ceilings.
