Bruno Katz (Partner-San Diego) will present “Challenges Facing California Restaurants Today” a webinar sponsored by the California Restaurant Association on June 18, 2020. Bruno will cover the labor and employment issues affecting restaurants as they reopen. With new and emerging guidance from various government agencies in response to COVID-19, he will explore programs and legislation including the latest EEOC guidance; the FFCRA and the CARES Act; covered accommodations for a COVID-19-related disability; notice and screening for return to work; age, pregnancy caregiver/family responsibilities discrimination; and pandemic-related harassment. Bruno also will answer questions on how to respond to various workplace issues arising out of the coronavirus phenomenon.
