Gregory Lee (Partner-Los Angeles) will present “Claims, Trends, and Trials In Your Region, and Important Operational Take-aways” at the Fall Education Seminars of the National Ski Areas Association (NSAA) held in Sugar Bowl, California on October 24, 2023. The NSAA is the trade association for ski area owners and operators, representing over 300 alpine resorts and accounting for more than 90% of skier and snowboarder visits nationwide. Topics discussed include handling skier-skier collisions, trail design, ski school operations, patrol response, spoliation of evidence, video surveillance and the importance of investigations. Greg addresses how some unique issues play out locally, analyzing recent incidents to highlight important risk management protocols.
