Paul White (Partner-Los Angeles) will speak on “COVID-19 Legal Implications for the Insurance Industry and Your Program” at the Target Markets Program Administrators Association’s Summit Week to be held October 19–22, 2020, on a virtual platform. Noted luminaries in the field will join Paul on the panel, including Robert Hartwig, Ph.D., Director, Risk & Uncertainty Management Center, University of South Carolina; Pina Albo, CEO, Hamilton Insurance Group; John Neal, CEO, Lloyd's; and Ivy Kusinga, Chief Culture and Talent Officer, Chubb. Topics will include the emergence of COVID-19 and its short-term and long-term impact on insurance risks; the status and multibillion-dollar stakes of global litigation raising insurance coverage issues; the spectre of millions of COVID-19 liability claims filling the world’s courts; and global legislative efforts to tackle both insurance coverage and liability issues.
