Jodi Terranova (Partner-Washington, D.C.) is a co-presenter for a session at the virtual Medical Liability and Health Care Law Seminar, sponsored by DRI: The Voice of the Defense Bar on August 20–21, 2020. Jodi, DRI’s National Director, will speak on “COVID-19 Liability Immunity.” Jodi will discuss the latest updates on the status of COVID-19 liability protections across the country. This presentation will cover the current federal and state protections for health care providers, including executive orders, proclamations and legislative enactments. In addition, the speakers will explore exclusions, exemptions and ambiguities that may lead to additional litigation in the future.
