Joseph Fusz (Of Counsel-Chicago, IL) presented at a virtual “Lunch and Learn” on October 23, 2024, on behalf of Wilson Elser to the Lake County Municipal League (LCML) on “Cybersecurity & Data Protection: Threats, Trends, Awareness and Prevention.” The training focused on current issues facing government entities and law enforcement agencies regarding cybersecurity threats and trends, legal notice obligations, and the need for appropriate incident response planning with outside counsel. The LCML is a nonprofit organization of more than 40 municipal cities and villages in Lake County, Illinois, along with associate organizations that have an interest in municipal affairs.
