Beata Shapiro (Partner-Boston, MA) will serve as moderator of a panel titled “Express Federal Preemption in Multiple Modes” at the Transportation Lawyers Association Annual Conference to be held April 30–May 3, 2025, in Rancho Mirage, California. The panelists will discuss the different types of federal preemption and how they apply to issues from jurisdiction to preemption of state laws, and how federal laws apply to claims against transportation industry members involved in various modes of transportation.
