Jacqueline Hattar (Partner-White Plains, NY) participated as a guest reader in the annual Read Across America Day celebration at the Eugenia Maria de Hostos MicroSociety School in Yonkers, New York, on March 2, 2022. The Day commemorates Dr. Seuss’s birthday in schools across the country and the Yonkers school resumed the annual in-person celebration this year after hosting a virtual event in 2021. Jackie has served as the liaison between the Westchester Women’s Bar Association (WWBA) and Read Across America Day in the Yonkers Public Schools since the inception of the WWBA’s participation in 2007, and helped to coordinate this year’s event on behalf of the WWBA.
