Jonathan Meer (Partner-New York) chaired the New York City Bar’s webcast, “Insurers’ and Insureds’ Perspectives on Current Issues in D&O Liability & Insurance 2021” on October 15, 2021. The four-hour webinar featured a panel of professionals, including insurers’ representatives and insured’s’ advocates, and plaintiff and defense counsel who provided a balanced perspective in four panels:

- Update on U.S. Securities Litigation and Coverage Considerations
- Corporate/D&O Liability for Event Driven Litigations
- Corporate/D&O Liability for Emerging Claims (Climate Change / Cannabis).
Jonathan also led the fourth panel, which addressed class actions against D&Os in connection with climate change, reviewed climate change and cannabis actions impacting D&O responsibility, and discussed unique issues presented by the cannabis industry.
