Kathleen Warin (Partner-Washington, DC) will present on a panel with federal judges, MDL practitioners, and law professors on “MDL Claim Integrity” at the Stanford Law School Conference on MDL (Multi-District Litigation) Case Management on March 7, 2025. With MDLs making up a vast proportion of federal court filings, Kathleen’s panel will discuss claim integrity and how MDL judges identify and cull non-meritorious claims. The conference brings together federal trial and appellate judges, attorneys from both sides of the aisle, and law professors knowledgeable on MDLs to provide transferee judges with tools to support their case management decisions. Other conference topics include common benefit fees, MDL leadership, communication regarding MDL practices, and case closure mechanisms.
