John Donovan (Partner-Philadelphia, PA) will join a May 10, 2023, panel “Navigating the Tripartite Relationship in Insurance Liability Claims: Best Practices and Pitfalls,” sponsored by the Insurance Programs Committee and State Civil Litigation Section of the Philadelphia Bar. This program will address the responsibilities and potential conflicts that defense attorneys may face when appointed by an insurer to represent the insured. Panelists will examine the applicable rules of professional responsibility, case law and contractual obligations that serve to govern an attorney under the tripartite relationship. Panelists also will explore the impacts and pitfalls that arise during insurance defense litigation and offer best practice tips.
