Kathleen Wilkinson (Partner-Philadelphia) appeared as a guest panelist at Dickinson Law School in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, on February 18, 2019, for a course taught by Laurel S. Terry, Professor of Law, and H. Laddie Montague Jr., Chair in Law, at Dickinson. The course focused on introducing students to a wide variety of job settings and getting them to think about the “competencies” that make one a good lawyer. Topics included how students might develop/improve their competencies, think about what their skills and interests are to find a job that is a good “fit,” and understand the degree to which clients’ needs are global. During her visit, Kathleen met with Dean Gary Gildin and Associate Dean Laura Williams of the law school, which is part of Penn State University. Founded in 1834, Dickinson Law is one of the oldest law schools in the country and the oldest in Pennsylvania.
