Patrick Kearns (Partner-San Diego) recently presented at the 53rd Annual Southern Methodist University Air Law Symposium held in Irving, Texas, March 27−29, 2019. The Symposium, hosted by SMU Law School’s Journal of Air Law and Commerce, is one of the premier aviation-focused annual seminars in the nation. Patrick’s presentation, “Recent Developments in Aviation Law,” focused on the details and impact of the FAA Reauthorization Act of 2018, in addition to an in-depth look at decisional law over the past year that affects aviation claims, including Federal Preemption and Federal Jurisdiction.
