Otis Felder (Of Counsel-Los Angeles) has been invited to join a panel discussion on recent developments on maritime damages at the upcoming ABA-TIPS Admiralty & Maritime Law Committee (AMLC) Seminar, "Maritime Damages by the Bay" at the James R. Browning Courthouse, U.S. Court of Appeals Ninth Circuit in San Francisco, California on Thursday, August 8, 2019. Otis will speak on his upcoming article on “Recreational Boating Remedies” addressing limitation of liability pros and cons in recreational boating cases; assumption of risk defense; and an update on damages including limits of punitive damages in admiralty. Other members of the panel will discuss topics by authors and/or editors who contributed to the upcoming AMLC hornbook, Damages Recoverable in Maritime Matters, Second Edition, 2019.
