Daniel Tranen (Partner- Edwardsville | Missouri) and Edward DeVries (Partner-Chicago) will lead a roundtable discussion on cutting-edge areas of product liability law at the Defense Collaborative & Midwest Claim Association event, “Speed Dating with Areas of Law: Chicago and St. Louis Collide.” Dan and Edward will discuss the use of 3D printing in product manufacture, developments and parallels in the opioid and vaping litigation, and the Communications Decency Act in product law. Every 45 minutes attendees will rotate among the roundtables. This continues for four hours, so each attendee gets to collaborate on four different areas of law, which creates discussion and debate versus individuals or a panel just talking at you.
