Corey Wright ( Partner-Milwaukee) will present on the panel, “The Aftermath of a Derailment: Investigation, Litigation, and Regulation” at the Association of Transportation Law Professionals 94th Annual Meeting held in Toronto on June 25-27, 2023. Acknowledging that train derailments involving hazardous materials or people can have substantial consequences, the panel addresses the mechanics of an NTSB or TSB investigation of a derailment, the role of other government agencies in the investigation and regulation of railroad safety and the litigation consequences.
