Michael F. Grady (Partner-White Plains, NY) will present “The Do’s and Don’ts of a Pathology Malpractice Lawsuit” at the 2026 National Meeting of the American Pathology Foundation, held October 16 ‒ 17, 2026, at the Hilton Sirata Beach Resort in St. Pete Beach, Florida. Michael’s presentation will cover best practices for responding to legal requests, lawsuits, and litigation threats; managing requests for departmental materials, including slides, blocks, and images; navigating departmental retention schedules and federal guidelines; and key do’s and don’ts upon receiving notice of a lawsuit. The presentation will conclude with an open forum.
