Ian Stewart (Partner-Los Angeles) is slated to appear as moderator of the panel “The Globalization of Cannabis, CBD, and Hemp: Opportunities and Challenges for Creating International Brands” at the National Cannabis Industry Association’s Cannabis Business Summit and Expo, to be held July 22−24, 2019, in San Jose, California. The panel of experts from cannabis brands with international operations and members of the Legalign Global Cannabis Law team will discuss the primary legal, regulatory, and practical challenges for operating across borders in North America, Europe, Latin America, and beyond. They also will discuss best practices to embrace ahead of inevitable federal cannabis legalization.
