Angela Russell (Partner-Baltimore, MD) will participate on a panel of jurists for a diversity webinar sponsored by the Baltimore City Bar, Baltimore County Bar and LifeBridge Health on March 6, 2024. Each of the presenters will discuss a scenario and offer comments on how it reflects implicit bias at work, ways to interrupt that bias and insights based on their experience and training. For her part, Angelia will note the real-world implications of implicit bias in the legal field for promotion, networking and so forth. Following the presentations, there will be a review and discussion of how everyone can reduce their own implicit bias and how increasing diversity in the workplace can help us combat our own biases. Questions from the audience will be entertained.
