Fernando Mercado represents physicians, hospitals, health care providers, long-term care facilities, and affiliated staff in complex medical malpractice actions. Fernando handles cases from inception through resolution.

Prior to joining Wilson Elser, Fernando worked at a New York City law firm specializing in medical malpractice defense. In addition to defending physicians and health care facilities in medical malpractice suits, Fernando represented hospitals in Mental Hygiene Court hearings and in hearings for treatment over objection.
