Ian and his co-presenter discuss what they’re seeing, the impact of COVID-19 on different areas of claims and how insurers should prepare for a changing environment around cybersecurity, the sharing economy, legalized marijuana and other emerging risks. For example, with respect to employee contact tracing apps under development, Ian pointed out that “It's important for employers to balance potential liability from being the genesis of a COVID-19 cluster, as we've seen from meatpacking plants for example, versus data privacy and security.”
