Imaya Adris represents businesses and individuals in all aspects of civil litigation. Her practice focuses on the defense of claims related to general liability, premises liability, wrongful death and personal injury. Imaya prides herself on the effective use of resolution strategies to obtain the best possible outcomes for clients, inside and outside the courtroom.
Before joining Wilson Elser, Imaya worked at a civil defense firm in Duluth, Georgia, representing insureds and insurance companies in automobile liability litigation and insurance coverage disputes. Previously, Imaya worked in the Dekalb County Office of the Public Defender, where she represented indigent defendants in criminal cases. Her substantial experience trying felony and misdemeanor jury and bench trials and successfully arguing dispositive motions on behalf of clients enables Imaya to bring a unique perspective to her civil sector practice.
During law school, Imaya’s passion for trial advocacy was fostered competing regionally and nationally in mock trial competitions.
