Aviva Stein (Partner-White Plains, NY) and Chicago partners Michael O’Malley and Dave Holmes will present at the 2023 Lloyd’s Market Association General Liability Claims Group Symposium, to be held in London, England, on November 16, 2023.

• Aviva’s first panel, “Liability Trends – A Global Wrap Up,” will describe and discuss the ever-evolving global landscape of general liability insurance, and explore the latest trends and hot-button issues shaping the industry worldwide. Aviva also will join “Sports Concussion – The Current State of Play,” addressing defense of those claims and the pivotal points in the argument, law and science.
   
• Michael will present “A Précis of the Illinois Biometrics Information Privacy Act (BIPA),” which unveils the story behind this groundbreaking legislation; looks into how this act regulates the collection, use and management of biometric identifiers and information by private entities; and discusses trends in insurance coverage for lawsuits alleging violations of BIPA. 
   
• Dave joins the panel on “Environmental and Climate Change Litigation,” which explores the risks from certain poly- and perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), emerging environmental exposures in the United States and beyond, and the incredible impact of climate change litigation on liability policies.
