Daniel will address attorneys’ ethics and the use of generative artificial intelligence (GAI) in the claims process, including the production of coverage letters. He will address the ABA guidance to lawyers and other state guidance around the use of GAI; the impact that GAI is having on coverage litigation, especially discovery in coverage litigation; and where policyholders’ counsel may send discovery demands asking for information about how GAI was used in a coverage determination.
