Jonathan Meer (Partner-New York) is the program chair and a panel leader for the New York City Bar CLE webinar “Insurers’ and Insureds’ Perspectives on Current Issues in D&O Liability 2023,” presented on May 19, 2023. With directors and officers of corporations facing increasing and evolving liability, the webinar features representatives of insurers, advocates for insureds, and plaintiff and defense counsel providing a balanced perspective on present and future exposures facing corporations and their D&Os, the D&O insurance marketplace, and the coverage afforded for these types of claims. Jonathan’s panel will specifically address emerging areas of D&O risk related to cyber liability (including class action and regulatory claims related to data breaches), cryptocurrency and crypto exchange litigations, and regulatory and contract claims involving D&Os of cannabis companies.
