Jeff Skly is a senior litigation attorney and trial lawyer with three decades of experience defending high-exposure civil matters in state and federal courts. His practice focuses on transportation and general casualty defense, representing logistics providers, motor carriers, insurers, and corporations in complex, high-stakes litigation. His experience includes litigation of matters involving catastrophic injury, wrongful death, transportation liability, construction and premises claims, product liability, civil rights litigation under 42 U.S.C. § 1983, and regulatory matters.

Jeff has tried more than 30 jury cases to verdict as lead or sole counsel. He manages matters from initial investigation through trial and post-judgment proceedings, with extensive experience in dispositive motion practice, expert development, mediation, and emergency injunctive relief, including multijurisdictional temporary restraining orders and preliminary injunctions.

Jeff works closely with insurance carriers and claims professionals to develop early, disciplined case strategies grounded in liability, damages, and regulatory exposure. He provides direct, decision-oriented reporting that aligns litigation strategy with reserves and business objectives, while maintaining full trial readiness.

Jeff brings a dual-perspective approach shaped by prior plaintiff-side insurance litigation, allowing him to anticipate opposing strategies and position cases for efficient resolution without sacrificing leverage.
