Jillian Oliff represents physicians, hospitals, health care providers, long-term care facilities and affiliated staff in complex medical malpractice actions. Jillian handles cases from inception through resolution and has successfully litigated matters throughout New York state courts.

Prior to joining Wilson Elser, Jillian worked at a firm specializing in civil liability and insurance matters. Her practice focused on general liability and premises liability, and she built a broad base of knowledge and experience handling numerous court appearances and trials. Previously, as an assistant corporation counsel at the New York City Law Department, Jillian managed and investigated cases involving juveniles working in the Special Victims Unit and the Major Case Unit and cross-designated as a special assistant district attorney in the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office.

During law school, Jillian was an intern at the New York City Law Department’s Family Court Division. She gained valuable experience in all aspects of criminal law proceedings and honed her research and writing skills as a judicial extern for the Honorable Mark D. Cohen of the Suffolk County Supreme Court, 10th Judicial District of New York, and the Honorable Robert A. Schwartz of the Nassau County Supreme Court, 10th Judicial District of New York. Additionally, Jillian was a judicial intern at the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office.
