Jon Fortner represents individuals and businesses in all aspects of civil litigation. Jon's practice focuses on the defense of complex claims involving product liability, motor vehicle accidents, construction defects, asbestos, wrongful death, and general liability matters. He also has worked with in-house counsel of large corporations, handling a variety of sophisticated business and litigation matters in a prompt and satisfactory fashion.
Jon manages cases from pre-suit investigation through trial, ensuring each matter is handled efficiently and strategically. His approach in handling matters for clients involves thorough research and understanding of the law, strategic communications with all involved parties, and a tailored strategy to best meet the specific needs of each client.
During law school, Jon interned with in-house counsel at a major corporation and at a national litigation firm, gaining experience that sharpened his legal research and writing skills and gave him a practical understanding of client needs in diverse settings.
