Joseph M. Fusz

Joseph Fusz (Of Counsel-Chicago, IL) presented at two sessions of the Masters Conference on Cyber Risk, Data Breach and Privacy, held at the Chicago-Kent College of Law on September 12, 2024. Joseph joined a panel titled “Who Are Parties to Ransomware Recovery and Why Are They Needed” which explained the role of an Incident Response Counsel in responding to cybersecurity incidents, addressing liability issues, and coaching clients throughout the recovery and remediation process. He also co-presented “Issues Facing Security Teams,” where he discussed current security vulnerabilities and trends, as well as ways to address external and insider threats through proactive planning, policies and procedures.
