Joshua Southren

Joshua Southren is a health care litigation attorney specializing in the defense of medical malpractice and nursing home claims. His clients include medical practitioners in a broad range of specialties, as well as hospitals and nursing home facilities. Joshua effectively handles all stages of litigation from inception to resolution and is dedicated to developing successful medical-related defense strategies.

Prior to joining Wilson Elser, Joshua practiced at a civil litigation firm in Tarrytown, New York, where he focused on health care and malpractice matters. During law school, he gained valuable insight into courtroom procedure, research, and legal writing as a Law Fellow in the Rackets Bureau of the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, a certified legal intern with the Albany County District Attorney’s Office, and a part-time intern with the Rockland County District Attorney's Office.
