Juan Parcero represents physicians, hospitals, health care providers, long-term care facilities, and affiliated staff in complex medical malpractice actions. Juan handles cases from inception through resolution and has successfully litigated matters throughout New York State courts.

Prior to joining Wilson Elser, Juan worked at a boutique New York City firm specializing in medical malpractice matters. Previously, Juan was a staff attorney at Brooklyn Defender Services, where he represented hundreds of indigent criminal defendants from arrest and arraignment through post-conviction matters.

During law school, Juan gained valuable experience as a certified law clerk and investigative intern at the San Diego County Public Defender’s office. He honed his legal writing skills as a law clerk in the Maryland Office of the Public Defender, where he researched and wrote habeas corpus petitions, among other responsibilities. Additionally, Juan participated in the Pro Bono Criminal Defense Clinic, which enabled student attorneys to represent indigent clients charged with misdemeanor offenses in Baltimore City.
