Karen L. Bashor (Partner-Las Vegas, NV) and I-Che Lai (Associate-Las Vegas, NV) recently attended the Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month Celebration hosted by the Asian Bar Association of Nevada. The event was exceptionally well attended by distinguished members of the bar and the bench. The honored speaker of the night was Justice Patricia Lee, the first African American woman and the first Asian American to serve as a Nevada Supreme Court Justice. The event also marked the induction of the new ABA board and celebrated the accomplishments of key members of the AAPI community, including Karen’s elevation to Equity Partner at the firm. It was an inspiring and uplifting event and a perfect way to bookmark AAPI Heritage month.
