Kristin Spotts represents established businesses and individuals in all aspects of civil litigation. Her practice focuses on the defense of claims related to general liability, premises liability, negligent security, personal injury and commercial contract litigation. 

Prior to joining Wilson Elser, Kristin gained experience working for an insurance defense firm handling all aspects of civil litigation, including but not limited to matters involving automobile negligence, wrongful death, mold exposure, commercial vehicle/trucking negligence, premises liability, first-party property, property damage subrogation, condominium association law and construction defects. 

Kristin began her law career at a plaintiffs’ firm representing individuals in complex class-action commercial litigation, including banking, violation of Florida’s Deceptive & Unfair Trade Act, violation of Racketeer Influenced & Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO), and the Sale of Unregistered Securities under the Florida Securities and Investor Protection Act. From there, she joined another plaintiffs’ firm, where she represented victims involved in automobile accidents, slip and falls, cruise ship injuries and various other types of personal injury actions.

While in college, Kristin served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Faye L. Allen, Ninth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida, Orlando.
