Partners Karen L. Bashor (Las Vegas, NV) and Krystal Yearwood Moise (Orlando, FL) attended the 20th Anniversary of the Corporate Counsel Women of Color Conference, held October 2–5, 2024, at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event was attended by 2000+ diverse women from the United States and Canada representing the highest ranks of their firms and companies including many current and potential clients. The conference featured dynamic speakers and thought leaders such as Suze Orman, Carla Harris and attorneys including the Chief Legal Officers of McDonald’s, Dennys, Mastercard, Apple, Amazon, Uber and others.
The agenda kicked off with a bootcamp offering numerous workshops such as “Breaking Barriers: Empowering Voices and Cultivating Confidence for Personal and Professional Growth”; “Social Media: How to Effectively Use LinkedIn to Enhance Your Brand and Presence”; and “The Power of Presence: Leveraging Visibility to Propel Your Career Forward.” “Cultivating Resilience,” a standout presentation on “Winning Trial Strategies” was also provided, and the conference wrapped up with several insights from notable Hollywood stars including Kim Coles, Issa Rae and Taye Diggs.
